Handicap flags may be used by physically challenged players only. In order to obtain a handicap flag, the member must produce a doctors note or handicapped-parking permit to the Golf Course Manager in advance of the day of play. The Member will be issued a card which is valid for the full season of play and must be shown to the guest service attendant on the day of play to receive a flag. A handicap flag grants the golfer exemption from daily cart rules, however the following restrictions still apply:1. Carts may not be driven on or between greens and sand traps.
2. Carts may not be driven within 20 feet of greens and or approaches.
3. Carts must stay on paths when parked on or at tees.
4. Carts may not be driven into roped areas.
5. Handicapped cart privileges are extended to the cardholder only, not the whole group.
6. Operators shall be aware of turf conditions and take care to reduce damage.
When Hunters Pointe is operating under a cart path only policy due to abnormal ground conditions, handicapped privileges may not be available. Any abuse of this privilege may result in suspension.
Handicapping Policy
Member handicaps for all Member League and Events will be their current handicap established in the computer. (Scores may be entered from other courses into our system to help develop a Member handicap).1. If no handicap has been established but the member has played in 2011, the member’s lowest score to date will be
used as their handicap. This will be checked before every event or league night and changed to their lowest score to
date until a handicap is established.
2. If no handicap has been established at Hunters Pointe and no scores have been entered, the member may use
the honour system to declare their handicap for the first round of play, if the member states they have one. Following
the first round of play the method preceding is used.
3. If no handicap has been established and the member does not know what they normally score, they will be limited
to a maximum handicap of 18 for men and 24 for ladies for the first round of play. This score will then become their
lowest score to date until a handicap is established as per above.
All score cards for league and event play must be attested and signed and submitted to the Pro Shop following play.

2. Any individual/group that has played more than 9 holes will receive a 9 Hole Rain Check
3. Any individual/group that has played more than 16 holes will receive NO Rain Check
Rain Checks are printed for a dollar amount representing the percentage paid and can be applied at a future date on a future green fee. Turn time guidelines are consulted before issuing rain checks to verify the golfers position at the time of the event.
Pace of Play Policy
All golfers are asked to play the tees that are appropriate for their ability and keep pace with the group in front of them. Course marshals will use the Acceptable Turn Time Guideline (below) to determine if a group is out of position. Groups out of position will be asked to speed up play and catch the group in front of them. If the group has not returned to position after two holes of play, the group must pick up their balls and move to the proper position. If the group remains consistently out of position they may be removed from the golf course. Course marshals are empowered to execute the pace of play policy, failure to follow Marshall's instructions or harassment of any kind will result in the entire group being removed from the golf course without refund.Hunters Pointe Acceptable Turn Times
